Top 10 Best Wallpaper apps for iphone

     Discord

The best sources for finding wallpapers for your iPhone are:

    • My Discord server "The Apple Den," has over 20,000 members and a channel dedicated to wallpapers.
    • Other websites and applications (which will be shared in this post).

To join the Discord server, follow the link in the description. I always post new wallpapers on the "Wallpaper" channel after I upload a video to YouTube. You can request wallpapers or find a variety of high-quality options to download. Simply tap the wallpaper you want and then the download button in the top right corner.

    WLLPR

Next up is a website called Wallpaper, spelled WLPPR. You can see their logo right here. Although they have an application, it's not available in the US. On their website, you can see a collection of wallpapers in full quality. These wallpapers are high-quality satellite images of different locations on Earth. If you zoom in, you can see cool details, like swirls in the Yellow Sea and different deserts. The images aren't just in the US, as you can see right here in northwestern Australia. Tapping on the image will show you the full quality. These images are really interesting and different from other wallpapers you may see on other applications. To add one to your photos, simply tap and hold. I found that these look better as lock screen backgrounds rather than home screens unless you blur them. There's a really cool selection of unique wallpapers here.

    OLED Backgrounds

Next up is a subreddit on Reddit called "Amoled Backgrounds". This subreddit is specifically for backgrounds for OLED phones, so you'll find a lot of darker wallpapers with black elements. I really like some of the wallpapers here, as they are generated and posted by users from various sources. This means you have a good variety to choose from. If you tap on one of the wallpapers, you can save it in full quality. You can also go to the comments section where people might have the wallpaper in a higher quality. This is a really cool collection of OLED wallpapers and if you have an OLED display, you will definitely appreciate some of the wallpapers here due to the high presence of black.

    Vellum

Next up is an application called Vellum, which is a fan favorite among many of you. A lot of you already know about Vellum, as I have promoted it quite a bit. In my opinion, Vellum is the most used wallpaper application of all time. The reason is that everything on Vellum is free and the wallpapers are of very high quality. You can blur, adjust, and add fun elements to your wallpapers. Additionally, there is a daily wallpaper feature, which I love and check daily.

Unfortunately, Vellum is ad-supported, which means you will see ads. However, this is the cost of using a free application. To save a wallpaper, simply tap the middle button and it will be saved to your photos. You can also blur the wallpaper by tapping on the raindrop on the left and changing the blur to your desired level. You can preview the wallpaper on your home screen or lock screen before saving it. Once you are happy with it, tap the middle button again to save it directly to your photos. Vellum is very easy to use!

    Aesthetic

Introducing the Aesthetic Wallpaper app, a newly discovered application with unique and creative wallpaper ideas. This app stands out with its feminine and pastel-inspired wallpapers, making it a great option for those who enjoy a girly aesthetic. However, the app offers a variety of options for all tastes and styles. With the option to view random wallpapers, the latest designs, or browse through different categories, there is something for everyone. Although I have only recently downloaded the app, I am already impressed by its cool and distinctive designs. Give Aesthetic Wallpaper a try for a unique and personalized touch to your device's wallpaper.

    Wallcraft

Next up is another one of my long-time favorites: Wallcraft. This application is cool because it detects your iPhone and runs through a process that ensures it only serves you wallpapers that fit your screen size perfectly. There are a lot of great wallpapers to choose from, with some being free and others requiring payment. You can filter your options by new, popular, or random, and even disable ads for a fee. I love how you can see similar wallpapers by swiping up and that it displays which wallpapers are free or paid. The wallpapers that are paid will have the Wallcraft logo with a little coin icon next to it, indicating the cost in their in-app currency.

    Walli

"Introducing Wally - another top-rated wallpaper application. Wally offers a user-friendly layout, making it easy to browse through popular, recent or collection-based wallpapers. With a simple tap, you can download the wallpapers directly to your phone. Wally automatically detects the device type, so you don't have to manually select between rectangle or square options. Additionally, users have the option to create a profile to save their favorite wallpapers. With a well-organized categorization system, Wally offers a diverse selection of wallpapers that are sure to meet your needs. Get started with Wally today and enhance your device's appearance.

    Unsplash

The last application I'm going to showcase in this video is Unsplash. Unsplash is a fantastic resource that boasts a vast collection of high-quality wallpapers. In fact, many other applications source their photos from Unsplash. So if you're in search of some great wallpapers, this is definitely one to check out. The wallpapers section is where you'll find the majority of the images, but don't be afraid to look elsewhere. The 3D renders, textures, and patterns can also make for cool backgrounds, even if they're not labeled as being for wallpapers. Additionally, Unsplash has a great website if you're using a desktop. All in all, it's a really cool application with a lot to offer.

    Reddit

The sources I use for my iPhone's wallpapers are two other subreddits on Reddit: r/wallpapers and r/iphone_wallpapers. Both of these subreddits offer a wealth of cool and unique wallpapers that can really enhance your device's appearance. I enjoy browsing through these subreddits because they provide a wide range of wallpapers, from classic patterns and designs to more abstract and artistic pieces. While r/iphone_wallpapers tends to feature more typical and commonly seen wallpapers, r/wallpapers offers a diverse selection of truly unique and rare finds. By using these two sources, I am always able to find new and exciting wallpapers to use on my iPhone.
